Jocelyn getting in touch with nature in Lake Wales, Florida

I'll be honest, I'm thrilled with how this one turned out. Jocelyn came to Lake Wales, Florida with a clear head and a full bag of ideas, and that combination makes my job a lot more rewarding. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. She knew what she wanted, she was willing to put in the effort, and she trusted the process. That's the kind of collaboration I'm always looking for.

Working the Space

One of the first things I noticed when we got started was how much the city itself had to offer. The openness of Lake Wales gave us room to breathe and move, and Jocelyn leaned right into it. These first frames show her working an outdoor urban setting with a natural confidence that made posing direction feel more like a conversation.

Light Was the Difference

Lighting was the key factor that gave this shoot its pop. Out in the plaza with the sun working in our favor, we had exactly what we needed. Jocelyn held her ground in full daylight and the results speak for themselves. Getting the light right isn't luck, it's preparation, positioning, and knowing when to move.
